At Golden Ace, precision meets warmth in a cocktail experience that blends Japanese craftsmanship with Texas hospitality. Located in the heart of the vibrant 2nd street district in downtown Austin, Golden Ace is a collaboration between Christian Suzuki (Netflix Drink Masters, Kagano) and Adept Hospitality, bringing together global expertise and a deep passion for the art of experiential hospitality.

Born from Suzu’s journey—growing up between Tokyo and the Bay Area, training in his grandparents’ restaurants, and later honing his craft in some of the Top Cocktail Bars in San Francisco—Golden Ace reflects a commitment to balance, technique, and intentionality. Each drink tells a story, inspired by the ritual of Japanese mixology and flavor profiles while embracing the vibrant energy of Austin.

Brett Esler

Brett Esler is an award-winning bartender with over 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in nearly every front-of-house role, from server’s assistant to operating partner. Recognized as a Zagat 30 Under 30 honoree for Austin, Brett has also been nominated multiple times for Austin’s Bartender of the Year. His expertise and innovative approach to cocktails have been featured in major publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, Playboy, and Maxim to name a few.
